Thanks for a great last day of school!  I hope to see you all at the Twins game in August, and failing that, next fall!

One day left, and we have six Expert reports to finish.  We'll spend some time signing yearbooks tomorrow, so make sure you bring your yearbook to school.  I can't believe we're already at the end of the year, I look forward to a great last day of school.

We started our end of year math assessments, which will go into files for fifth grade, but have no effect on grades

LA: Expert Presentations
We had some very successful presentations today- tomorrow we'll finish the rest of them, so make sure you have everything you need to present.

LA: Expert paper final draft

Parents- please read over and sign off on your child's paper.  Check for spelling/grammar errors, and have them run through it a few times with you (they will read their paper to the class, and it pays to be very familiar with the content).

*Continue work on visual aids.  We will have half the class present tomorrow, and the other half will present on Wednesday.

Thanks to all the helpers we had in class today editing!  Mrs. Brindley, Mrs. Peterson, Mrs. Watts (and Alex!), and Mrs. Knopick were a big help in the editing and revising process.

LA: Finish the four body paragraphs for Expert paper. Have an adult edit it, so we can focus on introductions and conclusions on Monday.

*Start working on Expert presentation visual aid.  There are a wide variety of options, including:

• Keynote
• Poster
• Artifact
• Sculpture
• Model

I strongly recommend doing more research, because it makes the paragraph writing far easier when you have a lot content to draw from.
