Classwork 10/8

Field Trip:
Our field trips today were both a big success! We put on a radio show at the Pavek, which was a ton of fun! I will post the sounds clips on my webpage soon. We then headed to the Bakken museum and learned about the history of static electricity. We made our own Leyden Jars, which can be used to store an electrical charge. Students were allowed to take their jars home, so be on the lookout for a small plastic jar with a nail sticking out of it- you might get shocked!
Thanks to all our wonderful parent volunteers, they helped make the day go very smoothly!

We tested Chips Ahoy! brand cookies in our cookie math lesson. Students need to find the average number of chips based on our class data for homework.
